A video has emerged from the scene of the tragic death of a 26-year-old blind man in the Almaty metro.
The footage shows a blind man attempting to locate the entrance to a train car. Unfortunately, he took a misstep and ended up close to the tracks.
Today, the Buzyq Telegram channel shared video footage from the scene where a 26-year-old man with a disability fell onto the tracks and tragically lost his life, according to IA “NewTimes.kz.”
The footage shows the visually impaired man attempting to locate the entrance to the train car, but unfortunately, he took a wrong step and ended up near the tracks.
According to the released footage, a girl nearby noticed the man and tried to assist him; however, she became distracted just as he entered the danger zone.
Within a few seconds, the man found himself between the train cars.
Earlier reports indicated that the visually impaired man met a tragic fate in the Almaty metro. Witnesses of the incident tried to help and moved the train cars, but they were unable to save him.
