Information about a large-scale rally in Taraz, allegedly gathering around 200,000 people, has spread across social media. The publication claimed that the rally was organized in support of the deceased Sherzat Bolat and his uncle, who passed away the day before. However, this report turned out to be a fake, as reported by IA "NewTimes.kz".
Officials from the akimat categorically denied the rumors, emphasizing that no rally took place in Taraz.
“The information regarding the rally related to the situation in the city of Talgar is not accurate. We remind you that spreading false information and actions that disrupt public order are subject to penalties under the law,” stated the akimat of Zhambyl region.
Citizens were urged to trust only official sources of information and not to fall for provocations.

Recall that on the night of October 4, 16-year-old Sherzat Bolat was killed in Talgar. Two days after the incident, the father of the deceased, along with relatives and residents of Talgar, organized a protest, blocking roads and demanding a fair and just investigation.
On the night of October 12, the house of the deceased Sherzat Bolat's family was completely burned down. The Prosecutor General's Office believes that arson occurred. The family was provided with round-the-clock protection, and the akimat promised to restore their home and provide temporary housing.
The boy's father, Karzhaubai Nury mov, addressed the people of Kazakhstan in a video message, stating that he does not want bloodshed. Furthermore, he declined to collect funds.
On October 12, the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Baurzhan Alenov, and the Prosecutor of Almaty region, Berik Adamov, discussed the progress of the investigation into the arson of the deceased teenager's family's house in the Talgar district.
On October 13, it was reported that personnel from the National Guard military unit were involved in patrolling to maintain public order in Talgar.
Later, fragments of surveillance camera footage showing the beginning of the conflict in Talgar appeared online.
On December 9, it was reported that the body of Sherzat Bolat's uncle was found on the outskirts of Talgar. The police published a suicide note.

On December 10, during the funeral procession, Sherzat's father emerged with demands, prompting the police to increase their presence. Sherzat Bolat's father was detained and taken to the police department, later being transported to the hospital for medical reasons. The Almaty region police department reported preliminary results of the forensic examination regarding the death of Sherzat Bolat's uncle.
